Kimberly Steele, RN
Registered Nurse
Kimberly Steele, RN brings 20 years of nursing experience to Arise Psychiatry, with a diverse clinical background that includes inpatient and outpatient care, crisis intervention, substance abuse treatment, orthopedics, special procedures, digestive health, and pediatric disabled care. Throughout her career, she has worked closely alongside providers and practitioners, helping support patients and families while ensuring thoughtful, coordinated care.
Kimberly earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Itawamba Community College in 2006 and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mississippi University for Women in 2019, graduating Cum Laude. Her academic foundation and clinical experience have shaped a strong commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care.
As the lead clinical nurse at Arise Psychiatry, Kimberly is well versed in medication management, intake support, patient education, clinical workflow, and team collaboration. She also brings years of preceptorship experience in the inpatient setting and is passionate about helping guide and strengthen clinical teams as the practice continues to grow.
Kimberly believes every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. She is especially passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a safe space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported in their healing. Her goal is to advocate, educate, and help others know they do not have to suffer in silence or feel misunderstood.
Outside the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandson, fur babies, traveling, and being a part of her worship team at church.
