Ginnifer Hutcheson

Adole Muruako, Ph.D, M.Ed, LPC, BC-TMH

Adole Muruako is a licensed professional counselor.  She received a Masters of Education from the University of Mississippi in 2020. Adole also received a Ph.D. in Health Outcomes and Policy Research from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2014, with a focus on how health behaviors impact women with chronic conditions. Adole has taught community-level courses in chronic disease self-management, cooking classes focused on healthy alternatives, and has published research on how the environment shapes health choices.

Adole is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and uses CBT, MI, and ACT in her therapeutic practice. She specializes in chronic disease self-management and holistic approaches to mental health concerns. 

Adole has also worked with Ole Miss athletes addressing student athlete mental health concerns.  She has worked with a wide range of populations and can address challenges that affect college-aged students as well as older populations. Mental health is a true passion and Adole considers it an honor to walk through personal growth journeys with individuals and groups. She enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her family.
